I am delighted to welcome you to the Hartland High School website.
We are proud to have recently joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust, a supportive and collaborative ‘family’ of like-minded schools. Together, we share best practices, provide mutual support, and continuously learn from one another, all while nurturing and developing the unique character of our school.
At Hartland High School, our dedicated staff, in partnership with the Greenshaw Learning Trust, are fully committed to helping every student achieve their full potential — both now and in the future. We hold high expectations for our students because we believe they deserve every opportunity to excel academically and grow personally. We follow our key mantra of 'work hard and be kind' to underpin all interactions and choices we make.
Exciting changes lie ahead for the academy, and we are confident that these developments will bring significant benefits to our students, staff, and the wider community. @Hartland High School27/03/26A busy but brilliant end to the term! We were honoured to host a visit this week from Minister for Schools Georgia Gould, our local MP Yuan Yang and Reading Central MP Matt Rodda, to discuss the government's proposed reforms to the SEND system. Our student panel spoke thoughtfully and articulately about their experiences of SEN support and several of our parents also came in to share their thoughts on the White Paper. We also introduced Yuan and Georgia to Dan, Y12 basketballer, who was part of the team to win the U19s league this week. A great opportunity to show off our school
