I am delighted to welcome you to the Hartland High School website.
We are proud to have recently joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust, a supportive and collaborative ‘family’ of like-minded schools. Together, we share best practices, provide mutual support, and continuously learn from one another, all while nurturing and developing the unique character of our school.
At Hartland High School, our dedicated staff, in partnership with the Greenshaw Learning Trust, are fully committed to helping every student achieve their full potential — both now and in the future. We hold high expectations for our students because we believe they deserve every opportunity to excel academically and grow personally. We follow our key mantra of 'work hard and be kind' to underpin all interactions and choices we make.
Exciting changes lie ahead for the academy, and we are confident that these developments will bring significant benefits to our students, staff, and the wider community. Our vision is for Hartland High School to become a truly successful and inspirational school, and we look forward to working with you as we embark on this journey together.
Ms Emily Davey, Headteacher

Hello Hartland families, With warm weather forecast, we want to ensure all of our students remain comfortable and ready to learn. On Monday and Tuesday, students will be permitted to wear their PE kit to school instead of their standard uniform, if they choose to do so. A few quick reminders: It is optional: Standard school uniform is still perfectly acceptable if your child prefers it. Official kit only: Students opting for sports clothing must wear the school PE kit in the same way as they would in PE lessons. Stay hydrated: Please ensure your child brings a refillable water bottle to school. We also highly recommend applying sun cream before they leave the house. We will update everyone soon for any further adjustments for the rest of the week!
