Our students work incredibly hard and are very kind: when they demonstrate these things we reward them.

This means that out of lessons children receive points on their RfL cards for positive behaviours, in line with the school’s values. Every time a child works hard, and is kind, they deserve to be recognised for it.

This also means that in lessons students receive ‘merits’ to an unlimited extent every time they do something well in class. The child who has worked hardest in a lesson will also receive the ‘golden ticket’ which is worth five points. 

At the end of each unit, we run rewards experiences for students in which they go on trips, have in school experiences and are rewarded for the things that they have done well. 

Some of these rewards includes things like: 

• Deliveroo vouchers for families 

• Takeaway lunches for children 

• Inflatable obstacle courses

• Cinema experiences 

• Go - Karting 

• Laser Quest 

• Bowling 

• Trips to the zoo 

• Meals out 

• Badges and awards.

Attendance rewards

Our students are climbing their own personal mountain to the very best universities and professions. In order to achieve this it's really important that students attend school every day, on time and ready to learn. Attendance plays an integral part in ensuring success when it comes to securing those amazing GCSE grades, and our students will receive fantastic rewards for this achievement. Students can obtain rewards for:

• 100% attendance in a week

• 100% attendance in a unit

• Best progress
